We need to let go of control and embrace divine wisdom.
I sat on the floor one night, completely undone. My chest was tight, my mind was racing, and my soul was loud with questions. I had done everything I knew to do — I’d prayed, planned, and pushed. And yet, everything felt like it was falling apart.
That was the night I surrendered. Not in despair — but in decision.
I whispered the simplest prayer of my life: “God, I can’t do this anymore. I’m done fighting.” And in that quiet moment, I felt something lift off me. Not all the problems disappeared — but the pressure did. I had waved the white flag.
I realized I wasn’t just fighting circumstances — I was fighting God’s process. I was wrestling with His timing, questioning His silence, and trying to manufacture peace through performance.
That white flag moment marked a spiritual shift. I stopped striving and started listening. I let go of the need to control outcomes and prove myself. And as I surrendered, I began to see God show up — not always how I expected, but always with grace.
We all have battles we were never meant to fight: trying to change people who won’t change, holding onto roles that drain us, or clinging to dreams God is gently asking us to release. Surrender isn’t failure — it’s freedom from false responsibility.
That moment became the seed of the message behind my latest book White Flagging: The Surprising Power of Winning by Surrender. A message for every woman and man who’s spiritually worn out and emotionally overextended.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re losing yourself while trying to win your battles — this book is for you.
🗓️ Set your reminder: August 5 — the book releases on Amazon for only $0.99.

Let this be your white flag moment. Not a moment of defeat — but of sacred, strategic surrender.
Let go. So you can rise.
